This home has been a study of space efficiency and functionality and is a response to the shift in priorities from pure m² to investing in quality over quantity.
The small house footprint means it has the potential to be a standalone home, a bach, or be configured with two or more buildings to accommodate the wider family.
This project is being developed and is available to all interested parties. We have had a budget estimate prepared by QS (albeit in 2014) for the Sol-R 3+1 house which includes: an 80m² footprint and 95m² floor area providing 3 bedrooms + study, bathroom and laundry along with super insulation, energy efficient services, passive design, material efficient and renewable energy.
