Senior Community Housing

Te Pā Harakeke is a 39-unit senior housing community for Hastings District Council, providing safe, warm and afforable homes that promote independence, wellbeing and connection.  The developement, for which we were involved from developed design, comprises a mix of accessible single-storey homes and two-storey duplexes arranged around shared green spaces and communal gardens.  The carefully selected materials and colour palette complement the surrounding environment, while cultural design elements celebrate local heritage and the spirit of whanau.
